Spellbound Petite Sirah (California 2008)

Spellbound Petite Sirah

Double, double toil and trouble;
Bottle pour and wine glass guzzle.
One glass of a magenta wine,
In the caldron just in time;
Raspberry and chocolate taste,
Tobacco scent and roses late,
Clinging liquid dripping slow,
Drink to life – let power flow,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like dark velvet smooth and subtle.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Bottle pour and wine glass guzzle.

    We recently moved, and spotting this bottle on the shelf of my new, tiny HEB made me happy. I met the vintner at a Spec’s Tasting Tuesday a few years ago. This became our special occasion wine, but our local stores ceased to carry it.

    Glad to have found your blog!
